This Privacy Policy describes how 1070 AI Labs ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application GarageBilling (the "App") and our website at garagebilling.com (the "Website").

By using our App or Website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Password (securely hashed, never stored in plain text)

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account. We do not receive or store your Google password.

1.2 Business Information

To set up your garage profile, we collect:

• Garage/business name
• Business address and phone number
• GSTIN (GST registration number)
• State code (for CGST/SGST calculations)
• Business logo (optional)
• Invoice preferences (templates, terms, numbering)

1.3 Customer & Vehicle Data

Data you enter about your garage's customers, including:

• Customer names, phone numbers, and addresses
• Vehicle registration numbers, models, and details
• Service history and odometer readings
• Service reminders and schedules

1.4 Billing & Payment Data

• Invoice details (items, quantities, prices, GST rates)
• Payment records (amounts, method — Cash, Card, UPI, Bank Transfer)
• Outstanding balances and payment history

1.5 Inventory Data

• Parts and services catalog (names, prices, GST rates)
• Stock quantities and low-stock thresholds
• Item categories and codes

1.6 Photos

You may optionally attach photos to bills (e.g., vehicle condition photos). These are uploaded only when you explicitly choose to do so using your device's camera or photo library.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be transparent about what we do not do:

• No analytics or tracking: We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any third-party analytics or tracking services.
• No location data: We do not access or collect your GPS location or geolocation data.
• No device identifiers: We do not collect IMEI, advertising IDs, or hardware identifiers.
• No advertising: We do not serve ads or share data with advertising networks.
• No cookies: Our mobile app does not use cookies or tracking pixels.
• No sensitive personal data: We do not collect information about race, religion, health, or political opinions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Generate GST-compliant invoices and PDF bills
• Manage your customer and vehicle records
• Track inventory and stock levels
• Record and monitor payments
• Generate business reports (revenue, GST summaries, pending payments)
• Send service reminders
• Provide customer support

4. How We Store & Protect Your Data

4.1 Cloud Storage

Your data is stored securely in a cloud-based PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase. Files such as business logos and bill photos are stored in Supabase Storage.

4.2 Local Storage

Authentication session tokens are stored locally on your device. Temporarily generated PDF invoices are stored in your device's cache directory and are not persisted.

4.3 Security Measures

• All communication is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Passwords are securely hashed (never stored in plain text)
• Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensure each user can only access their own data
• Authentication is managed by Supabase Auth with secure session handling

We use the following third-party services:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Data Sharing & Invoices

When you share an invoice via WhatsApp, email, or any other app, the sharing is performed through your device's native share functionality. We do not directly integrate with WhatsApp or any messaging service — you choose where and how to share your invoices.

We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this policy (i.e., our infrastructure providers listed above).

7. Data Ownership & Your Role

As a garage owner using GarageBilling, you are the data controller for any customer, vehicle, or billing information you enter into the App. We act as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate consent from your customers to store their information.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data at any time within the App
• Export your data as CSV or PDF reports
• Correct any inaccurate information in your account
• Delete your account and all associated data directly from the App's Settings, or by contacting us
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including business information, customer records, invoices, inventory, and uploaded files — is permanently deleted from our servers.

Locally cached data (authentication tokens, temporary PDF files) is cleared when you sign out of the App.

10. Children's Privacy

GarageBilling is a business application intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

11. Device Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions:

• Camera / Photo Library: To upload your business logo or attach vehicle condition photos to bills. Only accessed when you explicitly initiate an upload.

We do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, or any other device feature in the background. All permissions are requested only when needed and can be revoked through your device settings.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
